New: Life Science Lab Classes at University of Westminster
Enrolling in lab classes abroad has traditionally been a challenge for U.S. life science and nursing students. But that鈥檚 changing, thanks to an expanded partnership between 海角社区 and University of Westminster in London.
This exciting arrangement allows 海角社区 faculty to teach lab classes at Westminster鈥檚 globally renowned School of Life Sciences. With use of Westminster鈥檚 newly renovated state-of-the art facilities and equipment plus support from their technical staff, we have added two new classes:
- Microbiology Lab聽(starts Fall 2026)聽聽
- Principles of Genetics Lab (starts聽Spring 2027)聽
Both one-credit lab courses are open to all London students in 海角社区-Designed programs, such as 海角社区 Biosciences Career Accelerator, 海角社区 Health Sciences Career Accelerator, and 海角社区 London.
This development creates seats that are typically prioritized for students who complete degrees on campus for visiting U.S. students. It also eliminates troublesome misalignment between credits and curriculum in the States and the UK.
